# Privacy Policy – Colonist Resource Tracker

Colonist Resource Tracker is a Chrome browser extension that adds a local
resource-tracking HUD to games on Colonist.io. This extension is designed
with privacy in mind and does not collect, store, or sell any personal data.

## Data collection

- The extension does **not** collect, log, or transmit any personally
  identifiable information (PII).
- The extension does **not** use analytics, advertising networks, or any
  tracking technologies.
- All computation happens locally in your browser. Resource counts are
  derived solely from the Colonist.io game page that you have open.

## Permissions and data usage

The extension requests access only to pages under:

- `https://colonist.io/*`

This host permission is used exclusively to:

- Read the in-page game log and DOM so that the extension can compute
  and display resource and development-card information in the HUD.

The extension does **not** modify gameplay, send data to external servers,
or access any other websites.

## Third-party services

The extension does not communicate with any external servers or third-party
services beyond loading the Colonist.io website itself in your browser.

## Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy is updated in the future, the new version will be
published at this same URL. Your continued use of the extension after any
changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
